Promoting healthier living for all – through information, explanation and greater understanding of natural ways to combat illness and take better care of yourself and others.

Giving access to information on health matters, including complementary and alternative therapies, and encouraging people in varying degrees of health to adopt a pro-active approach to healthcare, is an essential aim of The Speedwell and WellBeing trust.

To that end, the Trust:

  • operates a Helpline for telephone enquiries
  • organises specialist Talks for the general public
  • offers brief descriptions to specific Therapies here on the web-site or through its Information Pack
  • provides contact details for organisations that can provide more information about qualifications and practitioners of specific Therapies
  • offers opportunities for clubs, schools and other organisations to interact with Therapists through talks, taster sessions, lessons, workshops or other programmes of health education
  • produces a regular newsletter for interested practitioners and members of the general public who Subscribe
  • co-ordinates a Support Group for anyone who is ill and interested in combining complementary therapies with conventional medical treatment
